On-line assessment package
This web based program(s) would take questions from a database and produce multiple choice tests and mark them, sending the result to a database. The tests should be updateable by simply providing new sets of questions. Answers would need to be supplied so the application can calculate a result.
Questions and answers may involve images and sounds as well as text-based questions.
The system will enable a tutor to input, edit and delete questions, and to specify of the test criteria (including the number of questions to be used in the test and its duration. It will generate and deliver a test. It will mark the test and provide feedback to the user and to the examiner. It will gather statistics on the questions used and the answers selected to allow the examiner to modify inappropriate questions and responses.
